Welcome Welcome to the web site of the Special Services Department of the Wyoming Board of Education. Just as the Special Services Department is organized to meet the special needs of Wyoming School students and parents, so too is the web site. Click on the appropriate buttons on the left margins to access these sections. To answer your questions or record your suggestions, each section has a link to the relevant staff member. The sections also provide links to other helpful web sites in that area. Gifted Education This section will inform the visitor of the identification process, the plans currently in place to assist those students identified, and the goals of the program at Wyoming Schools. Special Education This section of the web site will aid the visitor in learning of the evaluation process, in both the pre-school and school levels, as well as the services for children with suspected disabilities and the current newsletter. Health Services The Health Services section of the site will provide information on the immunization and physical exam requirements at relevant grade levels, the health screening done by the school district, as well as information on communicable diseases and severe allergic reactions. This section of the site also provides the ability to print the health forms at home, as needed - for physical exams, medication permission, and emergency medical notification.
